Greetings, skin microbiome enthusiasts.
Why Honest Marketing Matters in the Beauty Industry?
It’s been a while since my last blog. Some might say I’ve been busy, but the truth is, I’ve been stepping into uncharted territory—entrepreneurship. Writing about it doesn’t come as naturally to me as discussing the technical aspects of my work.
When I write about microbiology and the science behind my formulations, I can go on for hours, feeling completely in my element. But these days, my time is consumed by marketing and advertising—areas I never imagined I’d have to master.
I’ve always viewed marketing with skepticism, believing it often stretches the truth just to capture attention. And now, here I am, needing to promote a product I deeply believe in. The challenge? Finding a way to do so with honesty and integrity.
I refuse to use catchy but misleading buzzwords or fabricate stories just to sell. Instead, I’m taking a different approach—one that aligns with my values and the science behind Fafabiotic. I’ve realized that marketing isn’t about tricking people; it’s about introducing them to something that can genuinely improve their lives.
So, here’s my strategy:
- I won’t push an overwhelming number of products. Instead, I’ll focus on simplicity—offering multi-functional skincare powered by active and alive probiotics.
- Our formulations aren’t just natural; they’re alive, diverse, and multi-faceted. One microbe can do so much more than one job!
- This is a family-friendly brand designed to make life easier—no more searching aisle after aisle or buying different products for every family member.
I want to change the way people think about skincare—not just sell them something.
Hopefully, next time, I’ll have even more exciting updates to share. But for now, I’m embracing this learning curve and staying true to my vision.
Thanks for being on this journey with me!
Cheers
