Why Repetition Is Essential in Social Media Marketing

Greetings, skin microbiome enthusiasts.

This week’s post is about social media and sharing some of my learnings (probiotic agnostic)

If you’ve ever felt like you’re saying the same thing over and over on social media…
You’re not wrong, and you shouldn’t stop.

The Psychology of Repetition

Marketing psychology has long recognized something called the β€œRule of 7.”
It suggests that people need to see your message at least seven times before they take action or even remember your brand.

But here’s the reality most small business owners don’t realize:

  • OnΒ Instagram, onlyΒ 5–10%Β of your followers actually see each post.
  • OnΒ LinkedIn, it’s slightly better atΒ 10–20%.Β
  • OnΒ Facebook, it drops to justΒ 2–6%.
    Β

This means that even if you’re posting regularly, most of your audience isn’t seeing all your content. That’s why repetition and consistency aren’t just strategies, they’re requirements.

How Many Times Does It Really Take?

Industry data shows:

  • People needΒ 3–10 impressionsΒ just to start noticing your brand.Β
  • They needΒ 7–15 touchpointsΒ before they’re ready to consider or take action.Β
  • For cold audiences, it often takesΒ 5–12 exposuresΒ before they convert.

This applies to organic posts and paid ads alike. Even big brands set frequency caps of 3–7 impressions per week on ads to make sure they stay visible without overwhelming people.

Why I Keep Repeating Myself

That brings me to why I keep posting and re-sharing the same core message about Fafabiotic.

Because most people still haven’t seen it.
And even if they have, they might not have heard who we are really here to serveβ€”
From teen acne to menopause-related skin changes, we’re here for moms and families who are ready for real, science-backed skincare solutions.

So in the spirit of repetition with purpose, I’m sharing (again!) who we serve.

What Is Fafabiotic and Why Do We Recommend 12 Weeks?

Fafabiotic is the first-ever fresh, alive probiotic skincare that helps you:

  • Balance your skin microbiomeΒ
  • Reduce acneΒ
  • Hydrate and strengthen your skin barrierΒ
  • Support skin health through life stagesβ€”from teen acne to midlife skin changes

We offer two core products:

  1. Fresh Smoothing Probiotic Lotion – featuringΒ Lactiplantibacillus plantarumΒ for acne-prone, inflamed, or unbalanced skin.
    Β
  2. Fresh Hydrating Probiotic Lotion – featuringΒ Streptococcus thermophilusΒ to deeply hydrate and calm stressed or mature skin.
    Β

Why the 12-week skincare System?

Because real skin transformation takes time.
Microbial balance doesn’t happen overnight. That’s why we recommend our 12-week trio system, designed to work in phases:

  • Weeks 1–4:Β Start withΒ Fresh Smoothing Probiotic LotionΒ to rebalance the microbiome and calm inflammation.Β
  • Weeks 5–8:Β Continue with your second bottle ofΒ Fresh Smoothing Probiotic LotionΒ to deepen results and repair your skin barrier.Β
  • Weeks 9–12:Β Switch toΒ Fresh Hydrating Probiotic LotionΒ to lock in moisture, strengthen your skin barrier, and maintain long-term balance.

Whether you’re tackling teen acne or looking for a midlife skin reset, this system is designed to give your skin what it needs, when it needs it.

Thank you for following along and allowing me to repeat what mattersβ€”because I know your skin (and your confidence) are worth it.

Until next blog, cheers
